On April 24, after 5 beta versions before, we now can really experience Joomla! 3.1 Stable, with many new and improved features. Besides, Joomla! 2.5 has been updated to newer version 2.5.10 as well.

This time, Joomla! 3 is the one on the stage. And last day, its child version - Joomla! 3.1 Beta 2 - has been released for testing purpose as well as developer preparation.
What' special in this release 3.x series ?

Joomla 2.5.9 and 3.0.3 were released on Monday, 04 February 2013. It's been nearly three months since the last Joomla updates in early November.  So, these releases contain many of the bug fixes that have accumulated in that time. Both new versions also contain low priority security fixes, so it is worth updating quickly. The update process is very simple, and complete instructions are available here. Note that there are now easier and better ways of updating than copying the files with FTP.
